Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur fans can finally mark their calendars for their highly anticipated London derby, which was postponed earlier this season. The Premier League clash will now take place on Monday, 05 February 2024, at 18:00 GMT at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The original fixture was scheduled for February 23 but was postponed due to Chelsea's involvement in the Club World Cup. The Blues' victory in the FIFA tournament meant they progressed to the semi-finals, which were played on February 8 and 11, making it impossible for them to field a team for the Premier League match against Tottenham.
The Premier League has now confirmed the rescheduled date for the London derby and both sets of fans will be eager to see their teams battle it out for three crucial points in the race for a top-four finish.
Chelsea currently sit fourth in the table, just one point ahead of Tottenham in fifth, so the stakes are high for this rearranged fixture.
