Parents of Brothers Travel to Mexico

The parents of two Australian brothers who went missing in Mexico have confirmed their deaths. Martin and Debra Robinson told Australian news outlets that they were heading to Mexico to be close during the search. Jake and Callum Robinson, both in their early 20s, were on a surfing trip in the western state of Michoacan when they failed to arrive at their accommodation. Mexican authorities have launched an investigation into the brothers' deaths and have confirmed that they were likely killed during a robbery.

Mexico's Foreign Ministry expressed its condolences for the deaths of the brothers, as well as an American who was also killed in the incident. The ministry said it was working closely with Australian and American authorities to investigate the case and bring the perpetrators to justice.
